Über Jacob

Jacob Wester skis, surfs, owns his own tattoo machine and basically lives a life us mere mortals dream of. Here’s a guy who’s chosen his own style (and man, does he have style) and just exudes cool without even thinking twice. For any wannabe pro, take note of this guy – he’s a massive role model for any young rider who wants to learn fast and win the respect of the industry.

Jacob’s career achievements already boasts a sack load of major competition wins, but just as importantly some jaw-on-the-floor video parts. Back in 2005 he got everyone’s attention pretty darn quick by placing second at the Jon Olsson Invitational which kinda propelled him onto the international scene over night. By 2008 he was standing tall on X Games and US Open podiums and had grown into a superstar in the ski world. Meanwhile Jacob had films crews banging on the door asking him to fly round the world making movies. Cue standout parts in the likes of Teddybear Crisis (2008), MSP’s Claim (2009) and The Way I See It (2010) where Jacob mixes bags of style with ludicrous amounts of natural talent.

In person, Jacob’s a super grounded guy who doesn’t talk up his massive achievements but there’s no missing an aura of a man who has accomplished much but who still has a hunger for his next session on skis.
