In 2000 Mike startet with kitesurfing. After a short period of getting into the sport it changed from a simple hobby to his passion. He pushed himself to the next level with learning more and more tricks and increasing his awesome style.

After some good results in national competitions and finishing school he was thinking bigger and made a profession out of his sport. Travelling the world for competitions, trainings, photo and videoshoots and living his personal dream  - that´s what it´s all about.

As an Austrian Kitesurfer it´s not always easy because there is no sea around our country. But Mike still loves to kite at his home spot in Podersdorf at the "Neusiedler-Lake" and for him it´s still one of the best places to be in the world.

After several won National Championships Mike can call himself one, if not even the best, kitesurfer in Austria. But still it takes hard training and lots of effort to stay at that level and allways to push yourself to the personal next level!
