Monster Energy: Finally back, how do you feeling?

Petr: I feel great, thank you.

Monster Energy: Do you take all this as a new beginning, something that moved you on and if it did what was significant?

Petr: No no, this is not a new beginning. My story is going on although it wasn´t ment to be this way. But it happened and now we are moving on, the only difference is that everything has a much bigger meaning for me now. Of course, something like that moves you on and then you revise your life values. You will find out that all “terrible” problems are just stupid and to find out this is a good thing after all.

Monster Energy: Is control over the machine back or does it need more time?

Petr: I thought that it will be a problem and I won´t be able to ride again. But immediately after the first ride I knew that it will work out well again, on the contrary, I will have to continue as it cleaned my mind, made me stronger and pushed me psychically further. I found out what are the overall benefits for me and I said to myself, that I will have to continue with jumping. When you are actively riding for 30 years, it’s being natural, like walking. I just need to put my rotten body into motion again but my mind is clear and that´s most important.

Monster Energy: What was the biggest change for you?

Petr: I would say nothing, I am just thinking differently.  But it may be with the age.

Monster Energy: Is there anything you would still like to prove?

Petr: At the moment, I am not trying to prove anything. I’m riding a bike, because I need it for my life and even if I learn something new, it would be fine...but I am not promising anything. I am dusting off my old good tricks, I am enjoying it and telling myself how good they are and why they are not shown anymore?

Monster Energy: What about winter preparation? Are you planning to go aborad to train?

Petr: In the winter I usually have winter sleep, but there will be some winter program for me, so I’ll see. If it

won´t be  possible to train at the Hustn at  Krajcak, we will most probably go to warmer countries.

Monster Energy: When can we see you live in the action?

Petr: I will show up in Brno on November 10-13, at the Sportlife exhibition in hall D…great event under the roof,

along with BMX and MTB freestyle. Well and then we will have a Gladiator Games in Prague on

December 3, I am happy that I can ride with world top riders in the O2 Arena. Every other event, where I

can ride, is actually a bonus for me, so I will enjoy it.

Monster Energy: What are the plans for the next season?

Petr: Well, definitely we will have a few great events to spend with the team and I believe that I will enjoy it too.

But I want to move the team forward. Mata and Cert are working on new tricks, which will kick them a

little bit higher. Ondra will get his shoulder fixed over the winter and next year will be definitely great. I

would like to organize a big Monster Energy FMX party at the Krajcak at the end of August, we will see.

There is always enough of plans and I hope it will not stop just at the plans.

Monster Energy: Dou you have any message for your fans?

Petr: There is nothing much to let them know….classis. Come and enjoy it with us. I am back and I will enjoy

the orgasm of being 10m high above the ramp for few more weeks! I am looking forward to it!
