From his days racing the little 50cc Cobra bikes to his graduation through the 65cc to 85cc ranks with Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green, Florida’s Adam Cianciarulo is one of those names that motocross fans are going to hear a lot of in the coming years. As a youngster, four-to-six years old, Cianciarulo would draw core MX fans – those with children who race – to the fence in order to catch a glimpse of him competing at places like Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Tennessee and the legendary Gatorback MX Park in Gainesville, Fla.

Even at such a young age Cianciarulo’s command of a dirt bike over the unforgiving terrain of a motocross track was truly evident. And insiders knew he was fast not just because of his results (Cianciarulo’s on par to match James Stewart and Mike Alessi’s all-time amateur championship records), but to the finely-tuned ears those who wrench on bikes listening to Cianciarulo winding out a small two-stroke motor - “on the pipe” as it’s called. The industry could literally hear the next champ. With red hair and small in stature – similar to another top Floridian motocrosser, Ricky Carmichael – comparisons have already been made. Only 12 years old, remember the name: Adam Cianciarulo (“See-Ann-Sa-Rulo”) because Monster’s youngest athlete’s is a star in the making … actually has been for some time!
