A propos de Nick

Speed and horsepower, sure he´s got ´em-but the force that put Nick Dompierre into pole position is his creativity.

It´s a rich mixture that few pros can match.  Flip tricks onto rails, bluntslides on death-drop ledges, heel-crushing gaps-all handled.  In an era when the come-up in skateboarding is more competitive than ever, he came out polished-a perfect fit for the Monster skate team.

Dompierre pushed straight off the streets of the east coast with a high-speed attack that landed him his first video part in Roll Forever and soon after, into the ranks of pro-skating.  Within a year, he was nominated for "Skater of The Year" by Thrasher magazine.  Now-a-days, you could say he´s the prototype for the modern street pro, because Nick can but won´t, claim it all-huge gaps, rails with heavy consequences and a third-eye vision revealing the sickest lines.

He´s been bagging magazine covers and video parts since he was an amateur, and yet despite the fame, he remains the same hungry, east-coast kid.  Sure, Nick has become a skateboard superstar, but instead of a giant ego, he´s pumped that success right back into his skating program.  The program is to skate everything and skate it hard, to do what the others aren´t doing and to keep pushing the skateboard further into the unknown.
