About Andre

The Spaniard from Norway

Andrè was born in a small Norwegian village north of Lillehammer, where according to him, you could only choose from two hobbies: skiing and motocross. Andrè started doing both at the young age of four. Lucky with his genes (both his father and uncle had been national motocross champions) Andrè demonstrated his talent early on - twice in second place in national speedcross competitions. However, after a series of injuries in 2000 he ended his career as a racer. Nevertheless, the urge to ride motorcycles was still there so three years later, after having been a semi-pro in newschool skiing, Andrè decided to dedicate to FMX. And where else in Europe could you do that any better than in Spain? Andrè commuted back and forth between Norway and Spain for a while until he finally moved to Alicante in 2004.
