About Cameron

The 2008 Dew Tour BMX Dirt champ, Monster Energy’s Cameron White joins fellow Australian Ryan Guettler as the two Monster Army BMX corps generals charging hard in the extremely rough world of BMX dirt jumping. Banged up in practice at the ’05 Summer X Games – after landing on the American BMX radar with two runner-up BMX Dirt finishes on the inaugural Dew Tour – White would rally back the following season and mine Dirt gold at the Dew Tour’s Vans Invitational. He then blitzed his way to a 2nd place overall Dew Tour finish the following season (’07).

This past year White, known for his blistering fast tailwhips, kicked off the Dew Tour season with a win at the Right Guard Open – then cruised to the overall Dew Tour BMX Dirt title. The youngest competitor in the field of dirt jumpers, White spends the off-season training at his compound in Australia and hosts a number of charity events, including one that benefitted injured BMX Dirt rider Stephen Murray. Minus an invite to the X Games (LA must be out of dirt) this summer, watch for White to stomp into some other core BMX events outside the Dew Tour like the Red Bull Elevation Mexico, which White won last year, and the Extreme Thing in Las Vegas where he got 2nd last year.
