About Garrett

For the 2011 racing season Garrett Gerloff will be riding a Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R6 and competing in the WERA National Challenge series. Upon turning 16 on August 1, Garrett will also compete in the remaining AMA Pro SuperSport races.

The 2010 season for Garrett Gerloff was by far his best season to date. With 2010 being his first year on a 600, he rode the bike exceptionally well and was a front runner right from the beginning. Starting the season with a 2nd place finish on his first race weekend with the 600, to winning the 600 Superbike Expert WERA National Championship  along with some regional WERA 600 expert championships. In between racing in several national championships, Garrett also found time to win the Youth Rider of the Year Award presented by the AMA Road Race Grand Championship and an AMA RRGC 600 Supersport Expert championship. 2010 was also the first year for the USGPRU MD250H Challenge race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in conjunction with the 11th round of the MotoGP World Championship. Garrett came into the races with only one weekend on the bike and won both races by over 10 seconds showing that he is able to learn a track quickly and handle the pressure of a large race weekend.
