Going into the main event I felt I was riding pretty well, so when things went south for me it was hard for me to be happy with that. My bike set-up was really good and the bike was perfect. I don’t get to race too many of the Endurocross races so when I get the chance I really want to do well! I think my next Endurocross race will be the finale in Vegas!

After finishing on the last step of the podium at the X Games Enduro X—which was turned into a points-paying event for the AMA GEICO Powersports Endurocross Championship at the last minute—expectations were high for Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Justin Soule going into Round 2 of the series in Everett, Washington, this past weekend. Unfortunately, racing can sometimes be cruel, and Justin struggled a bit in the Pacific Northwest.

I love the X Games. I seriously watched every single event, every year growing up. I was into all of the events, from skateboarding to freestyle motocross. I loved watching all the athletes going big and pushing the limits of their sports a little bit more every year.
