With her untouchable talents on the slopestyle course, Lake Tahoe, California’s Jamie Anderson took home the glory and a fat stack of prize money this past weekend at the U.S. Open Of Snowboarding in Stratton, Vermont. Anderson has won every major slopestyle event this season and her winning run at Stratton was flowing and flawless.

About Kjersti

It is the rare rider who can reach the pinnacle of competitive success in both slopestyle and halfpipe, but Norway’s Kjersti Buaas has done it. In a colorful pro career spanning more than a decade, she’s been at the forefront of progression in women’s snowboarding and along the way she’s managed to rack up an impressive list of accomplishments. Her claims to fame include an Olympic bronze medal in halfpipe, European and US Open titles, multiple X Games medals, and World Cup wins. Her consistency and drive have made Kjersti a permanent fixture in the TTR World Tour top ten. As an unofficial global ambassador for women’s shredding, Kjersti also plays mentor and motivator to her peers on the tour. But for such a serious competitor, Kjersti is anything but serious. She brings humor and hype to every session. When she’s not on the contest grind she’s off traveling to powdery destinations, filming, and exploring the far reaches of the globe on her board with a pack of like-minded pro shredder ladies called the One Life Crew.
