Monster Energy freestyle mountain biker Sam Pilgrim wins Austria’s Vienna Air King – for the 5th time! Slick event in Austria’s capital city is dominated by Pilgrim, who throws down with a bevy of tricks – wows the judges – and defends his Air King title for the 3rd time!

Monster Energy Specialized´s Australian dynamic duo of Sam Hill and Troy Brosnan returned to World Cup racing this week after domination the Australian national series over the winter. Brosnan finished in 8th place on a track that catered to his pedalling strength, just over 5 seconds back. Hill crossed the line in 11th place, .8 seconds behind his teammate.

Another 1-2 finished for Team Monster Energy-Specialized riders Troy Brosnan and Sam Hill who both attended the Australian National Championships at the Eagle Farm track in South Australia over the weekend. With both riders keen to claim the elite title, there was a healthy friendly rivalry with the pair after coming off some close results in the National series. Troy and Sam have been going 1-2 for the whole Australian season and expectations were high for the duo.
