Endless Summer Episode 2

Sep 112020

With an uncertain year and uncertain times where athletes may or may not have much of a race calendar to look at, they look to their backyards to keep their training load going. In a normal calendar year, a cyclist will look to spend the bulk of their off-season training on home roads but then begin the traveling circuit where they will test their fitness & training on roads across the US & Europe searching for victory.

In a normal calendar year, a cyclist will look to spend the bulk of their off-season training on home roads but then begin the traveling circuit where they will test their fitness & training on roads across the US & Europe searching for victory..

With a completely different style of terrain compared to what we saw in Episode 1 of Endless Summer, the crew will explore the concrete jungle of Los Angeles via Rahsaan Bahati. From outside looking in LA may not seem like the best area to go for a road ride but with a wealth of knowledge Rahsaan will show Tj & Amity his favorite spots to train.

Rahsaan Bahati is a former American racing professional cyclist. A highly decorated career which saw him become a 10 – time National Champion and represent the United States at the World Championships on three separate occasions. Rahsaan’s biggest result came in 2008 where he won the Elite US Pro National Championships.

A specialist in criterium & track racing Rahsaan continued his success by starting the Bahati Foundation which helps underprivileged school children in athletics & academics through equipment donations & mentorship.
